Mr. A.S.Walkey is working as Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering Education Department of National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research (earlier known as Technical Teachers’ Training Institute), Bhopal. He has first class Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering followed by Master’s Degree in design & production of heavy electrical equipment from ‘Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology’ Bhopal, M.P. India. He has total professional experience of more than 13 years, in NITTTR, Bhopal as a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Assistant Professor including varied experience in handling administrative and managerial responsibilities. He has attended more than 15 short term Continuing Education training Programmes including national workshops and in-country programmes in different areas of technical education systems. He has coordinated/ contributed, designed and organized more than 150 short courses and workshops for polytechnic and Engineering college teachers and laboratory/ workshop instructors in the various teaching areas i.e. Laboratory Innovation, Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, Education Technology, Skill training, Assessment of laboratory, workshop and project work, Electrical Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, Electrical Commissioning, Testing & Wiring, Electrical & Electronics based Software’s, Transformer testing, installation & operation, Electrical & Electronics measurements, High Voltage AC & DC Transmission, Operation and maintenance of Industrial motors.

Presently he is working in the areas of teacher training in electrical engineering, instructional material development, curriculum development and education technology
